I finally got to meet some of my baby bootblacks, those trained by my apprentices. It was interesting to realize that from those I had personally trained, bootblacks had trained others, who trained more. My dream of growing the numbers of bootblacks within the Leather community so that the history of the Leatherfolk will continue and the leather they wear will live to be passed down to the next generation of Leatherfolk.
